For some people who want to lose weight, they know what to do but find it difficult to make the changes and can feel stuck.

These are Simple effective rules that will help you lose weight
Simple Rules
1. Eat when you are hungry
On a scale of 1- 10 how hungry are you
0 – not hungry at all 10 – Could eat a horse
If 7 and above you’re probably quite hungry.
5 or below you probably aren't so have a drink of water
If you are 9 or 10 you have probably left it too long to eat and are probably at risk of overeating once you start to eat.
2. When thinking of what to eat, think about what would taste good in your mouth.
3. Eat slowly – chew every mouthful
4. Every time you “fancy” having something to eat that is extra to your meals
a. drink a glass of water
b. ask yourself “what will that do for me ” ?
5. Leave a little bit of food on your plate
6. Exercise
7. Every day ask yourself what you could do to make this easy!
8. Try using seasonings e.g. Pepper, Herbs, Curry Powder, Vinegar, Mustard, Worcester sauce.
9. Cut down on salt
10. Use a smaller plate
11. Prepare less food
